Big Brothers Big Sisters is an organization which has been influencing children and youth from times immemorial. They have been motivating children to face life courageously and have provided timely solutions. They not only impact a child’s life today but also transform their potential for tomorrow.

Big Brothers Big Sisters are always looking forward to volunteers who can positively impact a child and also improve the community. They are always in need of big brothers who can help guide youngsters. A volunteer can spend a few hours every week and spend some valuable time in developing friendship with the Little. They can change their perspective of what the world can offer and thus start changing their lives. It can sometimes be done by simply playing video games, going to a museum or by just hanging out together with them.

About 70% of the children waiting for a Big are boys whereas only 3 out of every 10 inquiries to volunteer come from men. Studies have proved that having a positive influence of a big brother makes a lot of difference in a boy’s life. The young person can look up to the Big brother for advice and company whenever he needs. Parents also seek the organization’s support and believe that a Big Brother can recognize their son’s potential and model positive choices that show him the path of success in and out of school.

Mr. Ali Sharaf, the President and CEO of Victron Energy made a lavish donation to the organization to bring about the awareness of the need for volunteers.
