Hi guys! Currencies rose higher
all over the world. In UK the sterling pound rose after the UK government handed a £37 billion or $64 billion bailout of Royal Bank of Scotland, HBOS Pls and Lloyds TSB Group Plc.
The euro also moved higher after European leaders agreed to come up with a bank-rescue plan at an emergency meeting in Paris.
The euro climbed 0.6 per cent against the dollar to $1.3637, and added 0.1 per cent against the yen at Y136.99. It was up 0.5 per cent against the pound at £0.7962. The British pound strengthened as much as 2.4 percent to $1.7443.
