What are your thoughts of adding socks to some of your favorite models? I m not against it, I d just be very precautions when it comes to what models you opt to do it on. Stay tuned as more info begins to surface. You knew it was coming. You knew it was only a matter of time. Releasing later on Adidas adilette women's this year is the adidas NMD R2 Primeknit Triple Black.

Today we get a first look. The adidas NMD R2 Primeknit is the latest Boost model to receive the all-Black treatment The only part of the shoe not done in Black is the exposed Boost noted under the shoe. As far as the rest of the shoe goes, the Primeknit upper, laces, EVA inserts on the midsole, the Boost midsole, rubber outsole, pull tabs, branding and lining all come in a Black colorway. Very low maintenance, very versatile, very clean. No release date yet, but as soon as one is announced we will be sure to let you know. Thoughts? Just yesterday we gave you a first glimpse of the adidas Stan Smith Sock Primeknit which gives the classic silhouette a brand new look. Similar to what adidas did with Adidas adiprene the NMD by converting it into the NMD City Sock, the laces have been removed from the Stan Smith transforming it into a bootie-type sneaker.

Earlier this year we saw adidas outfit the Stan Smith with a Boost midsole that gave it a new level of comfort. Today we get a first look at yet another modified version of one of adidas best selling sneakers of all-time. What we see above is being known as the adidas Stan Smith Sock Primeknit. The shoe features Primeknit all throughout the upper, which isn t anything new for the Stan Smith, but eliminates the use of laces. The shoe has a bootie construction paired up with the original Stan Smith sole unit. The two color options include an OG-inspired white/green pair and a pink/black option. There is no release information regarding the adidas Stan Smith Sock Primeknit yet, but stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for more.

No word yet on when these will drop, but we re pretty sure these will arrive in the very near future. Later this Summer we ll be seeing adidas release a couple of new NMD R1 colorways as part of a new Japan Pack. Offered in two tonal colorways of Triple White and Triple Black, these NMDs feature Primeknit uppers with tonal detailing on the three stripes branding on the side panels, the heel, laces, ankle, Boost midsole, rubber outsole, and the EVA inserts on the midsole. Japanese characters on the midsole in contrasting white or black complete the look of the shoes. Do you anticipate grabbing either colorway from the NMD Japan Pack this Summer? Let us know and stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates.

Today we have more images of the newest member of the Ultra Boost family. Granted that the shoe does come in Grey, these new images show that it has a much darker compared to the initial debut (could Adidas adissage be a completely different colorway). Anyhow, the adidas Ultra Boost ATR Mid Grey comes with a speckled Dark Grey Primeknit upper. What really sets this model apart from your normal Ultra Boost are the distinctive features such as the high-cut thanks in large part to the sock-like collar, the detached tongue and the heel pull tab. The shoe also comes with a tonal heel counter and Three Stripes branding on the side panels that appear to be embossed on to the Primeknit. Below you will find you traditional White Boost midsole stacked on top of a Black rubber outsole.
