Thread: FAP Turbo - Helpful to New Traders?

Hello. I'm new to currency trading and am reading babypips.com. From there I plan to do more reading until I have enough knowledge to utilize a demo account. Most of what I've read about FAP Turbo has been positive. However, I do not believe there are any true short cuts and I want to know what I'm doing before I attempt to use an EA. I surmise the people who are using FAP Turbo to their advantage already have experience trading and trading well without the use of an EA. Any feedback you may have is appreciated. Thank you.

I appreciate the fact that you're proceeding cautiously. There's a lot of traps to fall into in the forex arena. I for one, think you are getting a great start over at babypips.com. Their site is great.

Personally, I knew nothing about forex trading before discovering the FAP Turbo EA. I researched the product and it's creators for about 12 hours before deciding to "go out on a limb" and buy it.

Along the way I learned a little bit about forex trading. But I still have a lot to learn if I want to get serious about manual trading.

That said, I must say that FAP Turbo has been producing very good results for me with only minor tweaks in the settings. And I haven't interfered with the EA at all, even during the last few days where trading conditions have been so volatile on the currency pairs it's configured for, that the creators advised us to avoid trading altogether.

I lost a trade or two, but what's interesting is that the robot appeared to be smart enough to pretty much avoid opening trades.

So, if you've already bought FAP Turbo, I can't see any reason why you shouldn't go ahead and put it to work on some demo accounts.

If you're on the fence about whether or not FAP Turbo is newbie friendly, well, like I said, I knew zilch before deciding to get it myself. It was easy to setup, well supported with documentation and video tutorials, a good forum and such.

So I'd say don't let anything hold you back from getting started. There's no better teacher than experience.
