Open Market Investment Committee
Abbreviated OMIC. Committee established in 1923 in order to coordinate the Reserve Bank operations. It was composed of the Governors of the Federal Reserve Banks in New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, and Cleveland. Not currently active.
