Europe’s powerhouse has seen stable producer prices recently. A rise of 0.4% last month exceeded expectations, but was still in a normal range. The Federal Statistical Office said today that the producer price index rose 4.3% year-on-year in October, faster than a 3.9% growth in the previous month. Producer prices increased for the seventh consecutive month. Economists had expects consumer inflation to rise to remain at 0.4%.
