Default A Swing Forex Trader Story - With Peace

    Hi There...

If you are reading this article, i going to assume you know what is forex and the basic knowledge of forex.

Many people try to trade forex and most of them will fail. Why? Because forex comes with a disease link to it known as emotion. Its within you and there is no cure for it. You could only manage it and how well you manage it will depend on your experience.

From my experience, I tried many trading styles and techniques in my quest to become full time trader and had my share of sleepless nite and worrying about a trade I made. I noticed that the more trades I made, the better I manage my feelings. I could take loses better + Accept my mistakes and stand the emotional pressure from premature profit taking when a trade is making positive pip count. This is something I had to experience and no matter how many books or courses or mentor I have, I can't never deal with the emotion until I experienced it. Its something like making love, you will only truly know it when you DO IT with someone. Watching pxrn or listening to other people story will not give you the feeling... get it

Making only more trades will not really help you to control your emotion automatically. You need to develop your trading technique which suits yourself and that makes you relax. You must be relax in order to control your feeling. Developing your trading techniques depends on you knowledge and knowledge is key in being successful as a trader. Once you have the knowledge, develop your trading style either by yourself or coping other people methods and modifying it to suit your needs. Improvise the trading style with each trade you make and once you are comfortable with it, believe it and stick to it.

When you have a method which works and you are confident about it, apply it to your trades. There more trades you make, the more confident you will be with your method. With the confident you have in your method, you will be more relax. When you are relaxed, you will be more matured in controlling your emotion.

I am a full time swing trader and I find it taking long term trades suits my feeling and you need to find yours. You will not find what suits you until you tried it.

For me, I do not have to sit in front of PC waiting for economic news or making countless trades and having my emotion going haywire. I trade long term as it gives me peace and makes my life more relaxed. I only make 3 to 7 trades a month

    Take care and happy trading.

    Default Excellent Article

I think all of us Forex investors have found it difficult to sleep at one point or another after a questionable trade. As with most things in life, emotions have an interesting way of taking straightforward and simple tasks, and turning them into serious undertakings. This is why expert advisor have become so popular over the last 5 years or so. These systems have revolutionized trading and allowed inexperienced traders to make a lot of profits.
