A career in financial markets
here is the situation. I'm approaching 30. Been doing sales, call centre jobs. Educated upto A Level maths.
I would like know if there is potential (if at all -im realistic) to change career and work in the financial markets, be it currency or whatever.
I only have breif knowledge, but I am very intelligent. V.good at poker aswell. Is it worth spending the next 2 years learning something inside out and then not being able to get a job in it. Im aware of current financial climate etc.
Ideally Id like to move to london and earn a fortune. This might sound abit far fetched but I am serious!. how would I go about getting into this as a career.
I know how to learn, and can open an account with party gaming etc to hobby trade. Can do this at first, but I have other options so dont want to be a half way crook. Its going to be 100% or nothing.
Any wisdom would be much appreciated.
