Leverage is the ratio between trader's own funds and loan funds, a trader who borrows from his broker. Leverage 1: 100 means that for a transaction you must have a trading account with the amount 100 times less than the transaction amount.

The traders who are particularly beginners for all time fall a great loss by taking high leverage due to non-sense planning and zero risk management policy . so, it is more appropriate to acquire proper risk management policy before using high leverage . actually from all trading elements leverage is one which always contains too much risk.

If you are a newbie I would suggest you to trade with small leverage, because leverage is an important financial tool which always contains risks. So, as a newcomer first of you have to acquire proper risk management policy by trading in demo account in a long time, this approach help you to see the performance how works high leverage.

I would rather suggest you to test it in the Demo Account and later deal in with the Live account if you are a newbie as the Leverages could be very much harmful if not used properly.
