Hi Dm3554
first of all you will have to stay in front of Pc for signal entry and stop loss but of course whence you have done that you can set the esmart ea but on another chart to exit trade for you at a profit/loss and you do not have to be in front of your pc for that.I am not sure how it really works because that the only documentation you have is that the defaut setting are for markets with active trends which has not been the case lately so I have not as yet played with the settings. The one setting I am having problems with is Usecloseonethird if you open 0.01 as I did it did not appear to close trade properly so in the end I enter a trade instant with no take profit or stop loss and watch the trade but it has it's draw back too.I will post when I have played a bit more with the ea .If it closes on onethird but you can disable that then perhaps use 3 lots and see what happen ....

Hi, xatrim
Ah ... so the ea that trails the stop cannot operate on the same chart?
Regarding the parameter you mention, it may be that the Lot should be divisible by 3 - e.g. 0.o6, 0.3, 0.9, 2.7, etc. - and the ea closes a third of the Lot size at a time? (Your Broker would hve to support these fractional Lot sizes also.) Not sure though.
Thanks, Richard.

I was able to send e-mail notification to my yahoo account, which in turn forwarded the e-mail to my Verizon wireless LG Voyager as a text message. Another being too many repeat e-mail notifications being sent. I wrote some Pseudo-code for tradeways to correct this problem. Currently 3.0 needs some minor tweaks and one major one regarding performance issues. Nothing that can't be cured. I am a programmer by trade and have a good grasp of the coding changes that need to bring this software to the next level.
I am doing all of this for free because I believe that strongly in the potential of this product. It really does a great job of defining trend patterns before they happen, once you understand how it works. The documentation is just about non-existing, but that will be changed in the future too. Using it in Demo mode, I was able to consistantly pull $500 a day profit using a 25k opening account with a 100 to 1 leverage, with .1 lot sizes; without much effort.
Once I am happy with the software changes, I will be going live using this as a front-end charting and pre-movement currency pairs indicator, but my actual trading software platform will be "Button Trader" interfacing to Interactive Brokers (ECN broker) "Trader Workstation (TWS)" software. I chose Interactive Brokers (IB) for quite obvious reasons. Yes, this is an expensive route to take, but I feel you have to pay if you want the best. "Button Trader" was just icing on the cake because of the incredible ability to easily setup different types of loss/take profit strategies. Take an interactive video tour at buttontrader.com and I am sure you will agree. It's different, but ingenious.
I will eventually be going live with a 25k account with IB, but they only offer a 50 to 1 leverage, which is okay. I will keep you informed.
Respectfully,
Kenneth R Semak

Hi Kenneth,
Thank you for your input.
I have noticed there is a new version now, it´s 3.1.
You say there were some changes needed in the 3.0, have they been fixed now, as you see it?
Do you consider the system relayable with default settings, on the 6 pairs mentioned on tradeway´s site?
Best regards
Lasse C.

Thanks, xatrim
Thanks for your update, xatrim. That's good enough for me .... I've ordered Pallada!
The screen shots on the web site have been updated .... easier to see what's going on with the Pallada now, and the indicators look good.
Good trading to all. Richard.

Pallada Porject
Hey Everyone,
I have been working with Pallada for a bit now and am doing well. The only thing that is really hard for me is the most active time to trade Pallada is during the European session and that is my sleepy time. It can get really annoying getting the VQI e-mail alert (all alerts go to a pager I bought-very reliable) then the BBand goes off, then you wait for the CI/WPRSTO to line up.
So...I was thinking if we got a group of people together and I took Sunday, the next person takes Monday, the next Tuesday and so on it would help. That person would be responsible for sending out a e-mail to everyone in the group to BUY or SELL a certain Pair
Any thoughts?

I'm not just jumping on the thread, there's a must-see difference.

Errr .... but aren't you (Cyclon) the author/seller of the system you are pushing on this thread? I.e. Aren't you "a guy that bought ....."?
It would be better if you started your own thread for your system.
