Default Pallada Trading Strategy

I am starting a new thread devoted to Pallada trading strategy. Pallada is half automatic expert, It generates signals to enter position manually, but in complex with pallada there are Trailing_stop expert that manages all positions automatically (moves take profit and closes position) - that's why drawdown is minimal and accuracy is very high, traling stop expert manages position and closes it if position is wrong. Pallada commentator alerts about possible trades (sound alerts). You can see how system works on the screenshots. Files with live trading results are attached to my post .System works with all major forex currencies. For more information about the Pallada strategy please go bellow:
http://www.tradeways.org/pallada.php (Pallada video tutorial and demonstration are available)

Price markers on screens comply with prices in reports, this is where positions are opened.
Unlike of the expert advisors with incomprehensible work algorithm, when you trade with Pallada you know exactly
why position is opened, this is not black box. Each indicator has it's own functions and description

Ask any questions if you are intrested

Question the live euro attachment

About your live euro result attachment...

Isn't that the same one on pallada's website?

The tradeways.org/pallada.org ?

What about your own live result?

Could you please post here?

Because so far, I've never really seen people

who gave good testimony on this pallada EA.

Rgds,

djanie

Yes, I too am interested in finding out more about this so-called EA. Has anyone actually used it besides Victorian? I would like to see more live results.

Default Pallada 3.0

New to this forum, but I have been working with Tradeways for the last couple of months to perfect the software and some of the changes in 3.0 were feedback from my testing results. For example, e-mail notification of a change in a trend pattern. I was able to send e-mail notification to my yahoo account, which in turn forwarded the e-mail to my Verizon wireless LG Voyager as a text message. Another being too many repeat e-mail notifications being sent. I wrote some Pseudo-code for tradeways to correct this problem. Currently 3.0 needs some minor tweaks and one major one regarding performance issues. Nothing that can't be cured. I am a programmer by trade and have a good grasp of the coding changes that need to bring this software to the next level.

I am doing all of this for free because I believe that strongly in the potential of this product. It really does a great job of defining trend patterns before they happen, once you understand how it works. The documentation is just about non-existing, but that will be changed in the future too. Using it in Demo mode, I was able to consistantly pull $500 a day profit using a 25k opening account with a 100 to 1 leverage, with .1 lot sizes; without much effort.

Once I am happy with the software changes, I will be going live using this as a front-end charting and pre-movement currency pairs indicator, but my actual trading software platform will be "Button Trader" interfacing to Interactive Brokers (ECN broker) "Trader Workstation (TWS)" software. I chose Interactive Brokers (IB) for quite obvious reasons. Yes, this is an expensive route to take, but I feel you have to pay if you want the best. "Button Trader" was just icing on the cake because of the incredible ability to easily setup different types of loss/take profit strategies. Take an interactive video tour at buttontrader.com and I am sure you will agree. It's different, but ingenious.

I will eventually be going live with a 25k account with IB, but they only offer a 50 to 1 leverage, which is okay. I will keep you informed.

Respectfully,
Kenneth R Semak

Question Pallada 3.0

The Pallada EA looks promising. Has anyone had any experience (demo or live) with the latest release (3.0), or the EA's suppliers, that they would share with forum members?

Also, is the user documentation fit for purpose; and is supplier support responsive, appropriate/clear and helpful?

Thanks, in anticipation. Richard.

Thanks for posting I have actually bought the EA which is not really an Ea as it is not automatic it provides a sort of ea that manages the trades when you have set the entry and stop loss exit manually .The latest is 3.1, I can say that so far the signals for entry are pretty accurate I am only demoing at present but really you must be present to follow or at least watch over the trades but it is profitable. The info given is pretty scant and one is at loss at first but you you have to watch the system to get to use it properly so a proper documentation is badly needed and I hope Kensemack read this post and improve things with a proper manual to define all the signals given and their priorities. The support email is also not very responsive and info given when given is very short of explanation .The esmart trailing ea needs more parameters and also proper documentation as well ,so kensemack hope you address that in the future scaling profit and stop loss ,hour to trade ,different type of stop loss in sync with indicators etc...

Thanks, Xatrim. That's very helpful. Richard.

Anyone else had Pallada 2.x or 3.x experience that they'd care to share with Forum members? Much appreciated. Thanks, Richard.

Question Pallada 3.x

Hi, xatrim. I've been looking at the Pallada web site and it mentions that one part of Pallada is a trailing stop feature which manages a trade once it's placed with its stop loss. You mention this feature in your earlier post ....

The web site says that with the trailing stop trade management feature you don't have to be at your PC all day. Is this not the case? Does the trailing stop feature not work very well?

The reason I ask is that my way of using Pallada would be to watch for its Buy/Sell signals at certain (variable) times of the (UK) day/evening, to suit me, place trades that came up (as per the Pallada instructions) while I was watching, and then leave those trades for the Stop Loss and trailing stop feature to manage to an exit/close.

Would I not be able to do this confidently with the software at v.3.1, do you think?

Thanks, in anticipation. Appreciate your help very much. Richard.
