Thread: Best Backtesting Software

Hi everybody. I have just began trading live account. I found out you can test your trading systems on historical data. But I can not choose the software for this. Can you please help me?

I made some google research and found couple of programs. Can anyone help me?.

Forgot to ask. If you vote any of the software, can you please tell why? What is the reason?

I played with a demo account of ForexTester some time ago, it is a good back testing solution.

Forextester allows you to replay market conditions/price actions months from the past and see how you or your trading strategy would do. For example, if you want to go back to last January and enter a few trades you can do that.

The software will actually simulated what the market conditions were like at that time, allowing you to pause and rewind the charts or even enter trades so you can get a feel for how the market moves. The tool is really geared toward helping traders practice their trading skills.
