Thread: The Silicon Forex Bot.

I'm surprised that the "Silicon Forex" auto-trading program isn't listed somewhere here in the Forex Forum.

It's an auto trading program that works very well with the MetaTrader 4 platform. I'm currently running a practice account with it and as far as ease of use it seems to be flawless. I'm an affiliate for the program but I'm not really trying to sell it just yet. The jury is still out on just how really good it is.

It's a plug and play in the MetaTrader 4 platform and is geared for the hourly EUR/USD. It's claiming a 75% win record. However, that's back testing and doesn't really mean that much.

The basic idea is to grab about 120 or so pips with an S/L of 50 or so. I'm impressed with the slow deliberate way it finds trades. with a small account, $500 -$1000 USD it boasts of making about 400 pips a month.

Currently I have found one real downside to it. The sales page claims "Dedicated Customer Support".

I tried to contact support 2 days ago and am still waiting.

It's tough to find an honest review on this program. I spent the past couple of hours looking for a real review but only found commercials listed as a review.

My conclusion: I think the program is good. It is not designed to make anyone rich over night but profits could be consistent.

I'll keep my trading results posted here as I build my fortune ( ) with this program.

I want to add a PS. here: It is now Sept. 8 and I still have not heard back from support. Not Good!
However, I did get some sales pitches from support to buy another trading program. Seems odd to me,

I have also been testing Silicon Forex, and after a great first day it all went a bit wrong for a few days, but never actually stopped loss. The bonus was a few days later it had recovered the loss and closed out at a nice profit. It has made about 90% profitable trades so far and I prefer it to others I am testing as it doesn't take profits too soon. Where other robots take lots of $30-50 profits, silicon has taken $100-$200 profits. (This obviously depends on your settings)

EDIT: Silicon Forex has stopped working and the site is no longer there. I think this might be a scam.
