Default Re: Forex trading software--Need Advice

: I can identify as the same issue has given me endless sleepless nights.
On www.forexsupport.com I found out that some platforms might hold price back in
order to gain some pips, but as most of the big platforms are FCM regulated
this is almost impossible nowadays. I also learned that the charting
software receives their prices from a range of vendors and that not all the
prices are always deal able rates whereas the prices on the platform are
prices that they are willing to deal on. Remember that the platform has set
of it`s positions with other partners and are therefore bound to the prices

I have heard about this software and the things I have heard are not good.
There is a company in Dallas that is using a software called Ghost PIPS, but it is not sold to the public.
It is only for trading floors in which someone like you or me would go there and pay to trade the proprietary data.
The company is called MNDS and their web address is www.mndsinc.com if you want to check them out.

I am a newbie i have been trading about 10 months and after much research i decided to enter a mentoring program that utilizes a trading system. This company recomends that you do not trade with real money untill you can successfully make 50 positive trades in row without losing.
I have been able to quit my regular job; I now trade full time using this system.
It wasnt over night it took around 4 months before i went live but when i did go live i was very familiar with the system and comfortable trading.
Many people including myself have been very succesful using this system.
The average stop on my trade is only 25 pips and i am still able to make multiple trades without a losing I have freinds who have been using this system for about a year and a half that have made over 150 in a row.
I am not sure of the advertising restrictions on this forum so if you would like specific information you can email me at dustin@dp4xtrading.com.

I just downloaded a new platform called RCG Trader by Rosenthal Collins Group.
One thing I`ve noticed from playing around on demos is that not all dealers are not created equal.
I read an article somewhere that said even though they advertise being an FCM, that doesn`t mean they are truly regulated.

I`ll give you the highlights of the platform so far (from the email they sent me) --
*lots of crosses, and lots of liquidity providers.
I spoke with a rep and she mentioned that they receive their liquidity from over 8 major banks (UBS, DB, etc).
    *Spot Gold and Silver
    *FX Options and Forwards
    *Streaming News, Lots of Research
*TRADEMAKER - Autoexecute trades based on research from a professional
    *Full online backoffice detail.
Here is the link -- www.rcgtrader.com
I`ll post more once I play with it a bit.
I just noticed that you can customize all the trading screens, kinda cool.

I think RCG Trader is a white label of Saxo.
