Thread: MACD

I find the MACD a great indicator but it seems to lag a bit too much. By the time it crosses most of the move has happend (4 hour chart) Any ideas on how to analyse it more effectively?

I am not really an Expert on MACD but why don`t you use a smaller timescale with your 4 hour chart?!
- Maybe somebody else can give us better advice

I`m only trading with the RSI as an indicator - If I want to buy I usually wait till it find support around the 40 line and the resistance is around 70 / 80 then I know it`s a good time to buy then I wait till the resistance move down to 60 and the support break the 40 mark and move down to 30 and then find support around 20 then I will sell again.

Even after reading the file I suggest only using MacD divergence as an indication of a reversal warning and not as an entry rule.
