Thread: my one million experiment

i'm from bavaria, germany. i've been trading cfds for some 2 years now. after a lot of analyzing why i haven't already made my millions, i suddenly found the answer: the reason for my lack of success was: lack of discipline! it doesn't help much if you're good at recognizing chart patterns and knowing a lot about trading theory. if you trade carelessly, especially in a tired, busy or impatient mood you will fail! if you fail too often you get dull and indifferent.

now, i'm still convinced that within 3-4 years i'll have earned all the millions with trading. but in order to keep up a strong discipline i need surveillance of my trading. so i created a blog where i post my trades after every trading session. this is the link:

with all the visitors following the progress of my trades in mind, i think i will be motivated and keep up the required discipline to reach my ambitious goals. you will be the witnesses!!!

i dont pick any stocks. i trade forex and indices!

loss of more than 200€ yesterday. all april gains are gone! have to start anew.

i've already recovered almost half of my last week's losses.

what worries me a little is that the great losses occur within hours whereas it takes weeks and months to build up gains.

What is your average risk to reward ratio per trade? Too high and you never catch up

i'm still struggling with this issue, today i was behind 360 euros (ca. -30%) in a trade. finally i managed to recover almost all of it. but it scares me a lot.

so far the month of may hast been a big desaster for my trading. have to revise everything and make a new start.
