    Default Is the USD worth less than JPY?

    I've been reading lots of stories with lots of big words I don't understand being thrown around, bottom line is i went to a currency converter and 1 USD is worth 83.51 JPY, does this mean our dollars went down.again?

    or am i reading it wrong?
